Trolls vs AMC theatres.
The old vs new distribution chain is being disrupted again with AMC (one of the US’s biggest movie theatre chains) refusing to show any Universal Pictures films post lifting of lockdown for breaking the exclusive theatrical window for the film ‘Trolls : World Tour’ as it went straight to streaming (POVD) just as cinemas closed. It was a bumper success, so we’ll see how this plays out.
