Emerging Behaviour was founded in June 2020 by Murray Rose, a results driven music industry

leader with over 20 years experience in running high profile projects in the entertainment

sector. Throughout his career he has helped artists build their careers from initial development

through to career defining success.

As General Manager at Capitol Records he helped break Sam Smith, 5SOS & Liam Payne

to over 40-million global sales. Prior to Capitol Records, he was Marketing Director at RCA and

Epic where he originated campaigns for Aloe Blacc, Bring Me The Horizon, Dido, Imogen Heap,

JLS, Kodaline, Laura Mvula, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Rebecca Ferguson, Scouting For Girls

& The Priests.


At RCA he also worked on global superstar acts including Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Pink & Glee.

He started his career in the independent sector at Big Life working with a diverse array of artists including Damage, De La Soul, Gala, Killing Joke, Snow Patrol, The Verve, Nigel Kennedy and The Orb.

In its first six months Emerging Behaviour broke three UK Official Chart Records delivering the fastest selling female debut album of 2020 with Amanda Holden's - Songs From My Heart', the fastest selling classical album of the year with Andrea

Bocelli's 'Believe' and securing Dame Shirley Bassey her first top 5 album in 42 years with her final album 'I Owe It All To You' making her the only female artist to have a Top 10 album in seven consecutive decades.

In 2021 the agency was lucky enough to work with the mighty Relentless Records (Headie One, Tom Walker, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Sody, Rxseboy, Foster, Switch Disco, Tyrone, Back N Fourth, Marty Guilfoyle), UMC (Sting & The Who), Strap Originals (Pete Doherty & Trampolene) along with a raft of new talent including Fergus, Troi, Flynn Marks, Lexi!, Trampolene, JW Francis, About That, Tonica and Plastic Mermaids. We also started our theatre division releasing music from the  breakout hit musical Public Domain.

2022 and 2023 continued the run of success working on a multitude of campaigns for Polydor, EMI, Warners, Fuga, Decca, UMJ, Distiller, Believe & ADA
