grammys and oscars up on last year's ratings slide

There's always a debate on the demise of award shows which were definitely affected by last years soulless virtual shows, however both the Grammy's and Oscars (we know why) are slightly up on last years record lows. Whats the turn off with younger audiences? I guess the appetite these days is for really time consumption via TikTok + Instagram Reels etc and the days of tuning in for a $$$$ performance by your favourite artist are over.
